ICF 6/30/08

I have yet to talk about my summer program yet. I received a $11,000 scholarship to this film program called ICF(inner city filmmakers), my filming partner in crime, Antoine, received a $12,500 scholarship from them as well. It's actually at USC and some other place in Santa Monica, so it's pretty dope!!!! Well anyways, today was my first day attending ICF. immediately they put cameras in our hands and told us to go out and make a 2 minute silentfilm with in-camera editing. For the first film I kinda took control of everything, I was mostly the cinematographer for most of it. For the second film I kinda sat back and let the other peeps learn the stuff I already knew how to do. Here are some pics from the first day.

To northridge and back 6/25/08

The day started at Jack in The Box. Ron and I stacked up on some grub for our trip to the valley(Northridge).
Luckily the traffic wasn't too bad on the 405.
Afterwards, we dropped by Ron's older brother's skateshop to see what was up.....nothing was up..
Our first stop was Jenna's house. There we joked around the pool, had a water balloon fight, and shot the shit.
After leaving the house we chose to get some jamba juice. Since we were already in the area, the mall ended up being our next point of interest.

The night ended at my homie Italia's house. I must say, that I'm a pretty good kid. No drinking or anything....damn...Well, it was chill. We swam, socialized, and eventually they're going to pass out. "Story of my LIFE" -Omar.

I feel sorry for the maid who saw me running around in a mansion like this.....At a time I kinda got lost....

Weekenders 6/21-22/08

Weekend.
SATURDAY
On Saturday I went to Val's cousin birthday party. It's crazy what parents do for their kids when it comes to birthdays....I never had one bday party...ANYWAYS, it was beyond crazy. Kids were attacking me left and right, pulling my hair and punching my lower half. Those 5-7 year olds are fucking insane!!!!
SUNDAY
Today was surely a lazy Sunday, It started off with me being at home complaining about how hot and bored I am. With a little convincing Ron was able to get me out of my house(because I hate going out on Sundays) to chill. When we met up Ron had this weird idea of wanting a cat/dog/bird..so we seeked out some animals. In the end Ron changed his mind about purchasing a pet. afterwards we chilled at his house inhaled some fruit and ended it all with a movie in Century.

Cant stop eating

While I'm doing my late night interweb browsing I always encounter weird, funny, dramatic, and interesting things. Like this video, but it definitely kept my attention the whole time. I AM aware that the people in this video have disabilities, I am NOT making fun of them.
