Sorry for not blogging in a while, there's a lot of new/fun stuff heading my way that's been keeping me busy. But with this little time I have now, Imma tell you about my night yesterday...
This is Rony's kitty, Zelda Obama. She's the first black kitty President of the United Kitties of America... Says Rony.
He's kinda kitty crazy...
I was over at Rony's place doing some editing of Katy Perry. Random, right?
We dropped by Gino's pad and I did some Whooptagging on his desk...
After tagging and playing with kitties, it was back to Katy.
Though the weather sucked, I still maintained to stay pretty productive today. I know I'm not the only one who enjoys being anti-social on a gloomy day(luckily I live in California so that's rare), but today wasn't the day to huddle in the corner with my computer alone. Instead of being gloomy like the weather, I met up with my friend Rony in DTLA...
I always enjoy doing work in DTLA, because most of the time it's usually in awesome penthouse lofts in random buildings.
Once I arrived in the loft/office/studio, I was greeted by Danny. Danny had this awesome parrot that had an amazing personality.
I also met a chick named Alli(son?), she likes eggs. Really! That's the first thing she told me!!!
Met a dog that dresses better than me too :/.
After meeting everyone, it was finally time to get to work. So Rony and I started working on a video collaboration for his site. If you didn't know, Rony is a pretty legit photographer. Check out his website HERE
He even has his own AMP profile.
After finishing up work for the day, I saw this on the way out. :/
The next day after Girl Talk I was super exhausted, I was awakened by a phone call from my friend Antoine. Antoine and I teamed up together once again to work on another film. My job was to be the editor(I have to be on a computer no matter what I do) and Antoine was the director.
We were all Mac'd out on set. We had 1 iMac, 2 Macbooks, 1 Macbook Pro, 1 iPhone, and 1 iPod. We were also really pro when it came to our sets. Unfortunately, I was stuck inside editing my life away. Infomercials FTW!!! After our shoot we headed out to Denny's around 6am. The crew was pretty dead, because they haven't slept in about 1 1/2 days... I wasn't dead though. I had a meal to devour. We then rolled over to Starbucks because I had no place to edit. So we set up there so I could finish up the film. Antoine was knocked out at Starbucks, except for in this pic. Everything was finished 5 hours before the film needed to be turned in. It was a great shoot though.
To start things off, I won't really be home much this week because I'll be spending long nights in the editing office. Today was the first day of editing for me. Actually.... Instead of editing, I chose to work on my visual effects...
I had to do some extreme masking/keyframing on this one. This clip was actually one of the easiest. The only thing that was keeping me quiet throughout the editing process.
After being glued to the monitor for a good 4 hours, I convinced a friend/counselor to let me make a food run with some of my peers while he stayed and monitor the students. After finishing up for the night we rolled down to the sand and spent the night there. wrd.
I am currently working on a video that has to do with....Video hoes. Why? Well a good friend of mine needs me to create a film exposing the chicks whom shake their ass in rap video and what not. This is kinda weird to me though....kinda like editing porn kinda...but hey, atleast I know I would be a legit ass porn editor, but I'll try to stay away from that lol!
This isn't my hugest cup of tea though, because I'm editing to the vibrations of ass jiggling and B-O-O-T-A-Y bouncin.... check out the 6 second preview below.
So I was chatting it up with director Mdot Strange, creator of 'We are the Strange'. He just received his clips from his film back so he can put them up to download. He sent them first to me to see what I can do with it. Well, here's a little preview of my first AMV(Anime Music Video)
