If you knew me about 6 years ago, you would know that I was a major computer nerd. I had a.d.d so I was never able to go to sleep because of medication. Instead of sleeping, I would stay up all night learning how to hack into peoples yahoo account or creating my own h4(|{$(hacks)/$(r1p7$(scripts) for games like counter-strike, unreal, half-life...etc...Well, tonight I decided to get geeked out a bit on my mac. While using VMware Fusion as an emulator, I managed to install Ubuntu(a linux based operating system) on my computer...

This was my latenight project for myself and I did it! I'm still a major geek/nerd but I don't hack or do that type of stuff anymore(so please don't ask me, I'll say no). Thanks to Andrew(Apple co-worker) for helping out with tips.

The next day after Girl Talk I was super exhausted, I was awakened by a phone call from my friend Antoine. Antoine and I teamed up together once again to work on another film. My job was to be the editor(I have to be on a computer no matter what I do) and Antoine was the director.

We were all Mac'd out on set. We had 1 iMac, 2 Macbooks, 1 Macbook Pro, 1 iPhone, and 1 iPod.

The crew was pretty dead, because they haven't slept in about 1 1/2 days...

I wasn't dead though. I had a meal to devour.

We then rolled over to Starbucks because I had no place to edit. So we set up there so I could finish up the film.

Antoine was knocked out at Starbucks, except for in this pic.

Everything was finished 5 hours before the film needed to be turned in. It was a great shoot though.

Watch out for the Newton Virus, it brings gravity to your desktop!!

The virus is in a usb key.
All you have to do is plug it in and then it infects your Mac within seconds.

Your desktop then collapse.

It also has some type of gravity sensor, so that your icons will be able to flop around your screen when you move it around.

I think this is a pretty cool virus, but I am kinda sad that it's a mac virus, WHICH SUCKS!
This means people are going to start paying attention to macs when it comes to hacking, great.
No need to worry though, It's a rare virus. The virus will only hit at random, but only once. It will not replicate itself, mail itself to your friends or destroy any of your files. So this is a pretty nice virus that's just for pranks and whatnot. This is also part of the Design and the Elastic Mind show at MoMA in New York.

Rumors are going around saying that there may be a new/updated Apple product releasing tomorrow. Many think that it's going to be a new Mac book/Mac book pro with macbook air-like qualities. I guess we'll see tomorrow if rumors are true.
