grad night tomorrow

So I'm pretty hyped for my grad night, only because it's a huge party at Disneyland. The only thing is that I'm not sure what camera I should go with. Should I go with my Nikon D40 DSLR(amazing quality) or should I go with a normal Sony point and shoot? Which one should I go with?
